The Cyclo-cross North East league runs from early September to late February each year. Races take place across the North East and Cumbria. You can get a good look at all our events over on the events page, and if you’re keen to race you should also take the time to read our code of conduct.
If you’ve never raced before, or never heard of cyclo-cross, you can get some great info on the British Cycling website. You can also read up on the rules, and register as a member of British Cycling.
If you’re planning on racing in our events you’ll need to join the league. The cost for the 2013-14 season is £5 (under 12′s don’t need to register). As a league member you get a race number for the season and you’re eligible for league points. If you’re just planning on doing one of our races we’ll let you race as a guest. Just ask on the day!
You can keep track of where you are in the league using the league tables at the top of this page. At the end of the season, Cyclo-cross North East offer prizes for the top riders in various categories: senior, veteran, junior, women, youth and under 12. League placings are determined by your best finishing positions in eight of the league races.
